Micro Focus Studio™ is a collection
of development software products which are
used in a highly-productive, Microsoft Windows
environment to Leverage and Extend legacy
applications, regardless of the platform
that is used to deploy them.
Micro Focus Studio™ development software
is also used to Lift and Shift™ legacy
applications from mainframes to more cost-effective
contemporary platforms.
The following Micro Focus products are

Micro Focus Net Express® with .NET
- an integrated development environment
based on Microsoft Visual Studio®, which
is used to modernize and extend legacy applications
for the Windows platform and the .NET framework.
It can be used in conjunction with Micro
Focus Server Express™ to deploy applications
to UNIX and Linux platforms.
Micro Focus Server Express™
- a development environment based on UNIX
and Linux which is used to modernize and
extend legacy applications into J2EE environments
and Web services frameworks.
Micro Focus Mainframe Express® Enterprise
Edition - a complete mainframe application
development and extension environment which
provides automated code generation, analysis,
compilation, debugging and unit testing
of mainframe applications on a desktop while
facilitating the flexibility to extend existing
transactions to contemporary application
architectures such as .NET, J2EE and Web
services.
Micro Focus Revolve® - a tool
that helps developers understand, document
and improve COBOL applications on a daily
basis. Revolve® raises precision and
productivity by allowing developers to think
and work visually, improving time-to-market
by accelerating understanding to a fraction
of the time it would take using outdated
technology or manual processes.
Micro Focus Revolve® Enterprise
Edition - Micro Focus Revolve® Enterprise
Edition is an application understanding
environment for central analysis teams involved
in estimating, assessing and managing inventory-wide
mass change initiatives. It allows organizations
to adapt more quickly to change, delivering
comprehensive high-quality results in a
fraction of the time of alternative approaches.
Micro Focus Server™
The Micro Focus Server™ group of products
is comprised of Micro Focus' deployment
software used by customers to integrate
their legacy applications with contemporary
architectures and Web services frameworks,
such as .NET, J2EE and XML.
These products give customers the power
to maximize their investments in legacy
applications.

- a high performance execution environment
which incorporates powerful facilities that
enable COBOL applications to run on a wide

Micro Focus Enterprise Server™
- a high performance transaction processing
environment. Fully compatible with IBM mainframe
technology, Enterprise Server™ enables
the deployment of mainframe legacy applications
and provides seamless integration with .NET
and J2EE architectures and Web services
frameworks to facilitate the implementation
of service oriented architectures.
